Wrendale Designs Plush Adele Robin Junior

Inspired by ‘Jolly Robin’, the illustrated character by Hannah Dale has been brought to life as Plush Adele Robin Junior. Adele is glamorous, botanical and gregarious.

Curl up with this cuddly plush robin. Adele is red breasted with a soft white tummy and soft wings. She has a little beak buried among her feathers, beady eyes and a plump round body. She is complete with the Wrendale logo stitched in bronze thread on one of her feet.

Each plush animal comes with a little tag with information about the character.

Adele loves a bit of glitz and glamour and truly believes that one can never be overdressed. She is always the first on the dancefloor at any party and loves to shade her feathers to Abba’s Dancing Queen. Adele also enjoys a spot of gardening and once won first prize for her very large marrow at the local village show, She loves foraging for wild mushrooms and once fell in a pond trying to retrieve a shaggy ink cap. To save her embarrassment she told her friends she has taken up wild swimming.

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
