Cleo, star of this terrier collie dog greeting card, had been patiently waiting at Dogs Trust Leeds for a new home. Long stays are known by Dogs Trust as underdogs and this old girl was sadly quite the established underdog, having been there for many months.Things were about to change for the better when Julie saw Cleo online. Within a few minutes of watching her video, Julie and Chris felt sure Cleo was destined to be their dog. A big fan of cuddly toy companions at bedtime, she loves them all, although she prefers them limbless. Nobody who meets this energetic old lady can believe her age. Running around the garden and playing with balls are her favourite hobbies and on walks, she often comes thundering past, sounding for all the world like a galloping horse. When she falls asleep after a busy day, she snores loudly and looks thoroughly content with her new life. One of the best emotions in the world is to watch your rescue dog relaxed and snoozing.  Cleo may have a fox’s tail, the hind legs of a kangaroo and the feet of a rabbit, but she is everything they could have wished for in a dog.
